Incident Narrative
An employee was assisting with shrink wrapping a metal keg (weighing approximately 185 pounds) to a pallet for shipping. While the keg was being tilted to one side, the employee was tucking excess shrink wrap under the keg. The tilted side of the keg was lowered back onto the wooden pallet and the employee's right hand was caught between the keg and pallet resulting in amputation of their right middle finger.
