An employee had been spot sanding steel at the ground level of a test stand structure. The employee tripped over a curb or a piece of pipe that was sticking out of the structure. He fell and struck his head on structural steel and became unconscious. The employee sustained a concussion and a 2-inch laceration to the side of the head above the ear. The employee also had a seizure.
