Incident Narrative

An employee was helping to pull out the main cable of a crane. The employee was on the deck of the crane with the reeving winch. He was trying to guide the cable in the reeving winch when his left hand was pulled into the winch resulting in amputation of his left middle fingertip and a broken ring finger.
