Incident Narrative
A forklift operator was unloading a large case from the back of the trailer while the injured employee was removing straps from the trailer. As the case cleared the trailer's edge, the case tilted toward the injured employee and struck her. She sustained fractures of the right collarbone, ribs, and toes as well as a spleen laceration. Note to coder: Forklift operator and injured employee (driver) are not the same.
