Incident Narrative
Two employees were working to connect a lawn tractor to a pull-behind aerator. The tractor and aerator were hooked-up/hitched together. The injured employee noticed a cotter pin needed to be attached and stepped between the tractor and aerator hitch area. The other employee started the tractor when it moved forward a foot and a half and made contact with the injured employee's ankle. The injured employee sustained a right ankle fracture that required surgery.
