Incident Narrative
An employee was manually transferring boxes of freight from a pallet on the floor to a stock cart. While bending down to grab the freight, the employee was positioned with one foot on the pallet and the other foot on the floor. The employee then stood up and stepped off the pallet, lost balance and fell backward to the floor, fracturing their right hip.
