An employee was placing bars of aluminum stock into a CNC lathe machine. As the employee started the machine, he noticed a bar sticking out of the back of the lathe. As he went to grab it, the employee's right wrist area was struck by the bar. He sustained multiple fractures and lacerations to the right hand and wrist.
