Incident Narrative
An employee was replacing a melted airline on a power take-off (PTO) drive line U-joint. He was holding a razor blade in his left hand and the airline in his right. As he put pressure on the airline with the blade, the blade shifted and cut through both the airline and his right middle finger, resulting in amputation.
