Incident Narrative
An employee was coming back from lunch when he noticed a machine alarm on the low pressure cooling conveyor. Two pallets became jammed on the lifter and as the employee went to clear the jam, his right middle finger became pinched between the guarding on the conveyor/lifter and the tool. The employee sustained a right middle finger amputation down to the first knuckle.
