Incident Narrative

An employee was rolling a drill pipe into the shot blaster. The shot blaster door closed as the employee was pushing the pipes into the machine. The employee's left hand was caught between the pipes and the shot blaster door, resulting in a partial amputation of the left middle fingertip as well as a fracture.
