Incident Narrative

An employee was unclogging a drain line from the tertiary screen in the recycle mill operations section. While lifting the basket out to clean, hot water sprayed through the seams of the filter. The employee sustained thermal burns on the left hand, forearm, and leg as well as the right thigh and foot.
