An employee was helping to remove a piece of a heating duct that was suspended approximately 20 feet in the air by threaded rods. A telehandler was holding up the duct as the crew began cutting the threaded rods one by one. When the last rod was cut, the duct shifted, knocking the employee off a scissor lift to the ground, resulting in rib and ankle fractures.
