Incident Narrative

An employee was secured in a boom lift basket bolting purlins on a roof when the building collapsed, causing a rafter to strike the employee. The rafter caught and overturned the boom lift. The employee fell to the ground, resulting in a left distal femur fracture, facial fracture, and brain hemorrhaging.
