Incident Narrative

An employee was helping to move a four-drawer file cabinet. The top of the cabinet was tilted toward his co-worker. The injured employee then squatted to lift the bottom of the file cabinet from the base to adjust the cabinet. As the injured employee began to lift, he felt his weight shift and felt pain in his left leg. The lift was stopped, and the injured employee fell. He sustained two fractures to the left fibula.
