Incident Narrative
An employee was utilizing an automatic lift table stacking system. The employee manually lowered the lift table using the control panel to retrieve a broken wood board that was severed into two pieces. As the employee reached to retrieve a piece of wood, the lift table started to rise, causing the employee's right hand to become caught between the lift table and the system frame. The employee sustained a fracture to the right little finger and a laceration to the right hand.
