Incident Narrative
An employee entered a resident's room when their call light indicated that they needed assistance. The employee walked toward the resident's bathroom when she noticed a wheelchair, bedside table, and walker in her pathway. As she began to move the items, her foot became caught on the walker, causing the employee to trip and fall. She sustained a hip fracture and was hospitalized.
