An employee was smoothing a part on a grinding wheel. The employee backed the grinding wheel away from the part and was feeling the part to make sure it was smooth when his right hand was pulled into the grinding wheel. The employee sustained multiple lacerations to the right index and middle fingers requiring surgery.
