Incident Narrative
An employee was attaching a catwalk to a new aggregate weigh hopper. He was standing on a concrete pillar at the base of the hopper. While pulling the catwalk into place, he lost footing and fell approximately 6 feet to the gravel covered ground, landing in a seated position. The employee was hospitalized with two fractured ribs and a fractured pelvis.
