On May 28, 2022, at 4:24 PM, a postal employee was delivering mail to residences. The employee was facing their mail vehicle when a customer came up from behind and assaulted him with a baseball bat. He sustained a broken arm, a bruised kidney, and injuries that required twenty-three staples to the head.
