Incident Narrative
An employee was mowing the fairways on a golf course using a triplex mower and noticed the reels of the mower were not cutting the grass properly. The employee got off the mower and saw that the reels were covered in grass. The employee tried to clear the grass using their gloved right hand and the glove got caught on the reel blades. The employee sustained lacerations to their right index and middle fingers later resulting in amputation of the index finger and the partial paralyzation of the right middle finger.
