Incident Narrative

An employee was standing behind a paver, about 15 feet from the back, filling up his water bottle from a water cooler. A vehicle broke through the barrel barricade and hit the employee, throwing them into the air. The employee then impacted the ground. The employee was hospitalized with multiple fractures to both legs, and possible injuries to the neck, ribs, and back. Two other employees were injured but not hospitalized.
