On April 4, 2022, at 9:00 a.m., the injured employee was training another employee on how to adjust the deck height on a gas-powered push mower. A switch was engaged and caused the mower blade to strike the injured employee s left hand causing an amputation to the middle finger and a laceration to the ring finger. The laceration required stitches and the middle finger was reattached.
