An employee was driving a forklift in the warehouse when he punctured a tote of caustic. As he was cleaning up the spill, he slipped and fell into the caustic and it burned his legs and ankles. The employee was hospitalized. Another employee was using a bucket to help clean up the caustic spill; when he set the bucket down, caustic entered his right eye. The second employee was not hospitalized.
