An employee was loading a tractor trailer using a standup/ride on powered industrial truck (PIT). While the employee was exiting a tractor trailer, the dock plate inadvertently raised and the PIT struck the dock plate. The employee's left leg was pinned between the dock plate and the PIT, resulting in leg contusions.
