Incident Narrative

On November 16, 2021, an employee was standing on a work platform to clean out an equipment bay on the side of on an aircraft. The employee walked across the platform to retrieve equipment and stepped off an area of the platform that was unprotected due to a retracted slide out. His elbow struck the work platform, resulting in an elbow fracture that required surgery and hospitalization.
