On October 22, 2021, at approximately 2:45 PM, an employee was operating a custom pneumatic press that presses an approximate 1-inch by 2-inch metal plate into the stile of a combination door. When the press was activated, their left middle finger was pinched in the press resulting in a fingertip amputation.
