Incident Narrative
An employee was guiding a concrete power trowel into the back of a pickup truck. The trowel was being lifted by a chain attached to a forklift. As the trowel was being lowered into the pickup truck by the forklift, the employee's right ring finger was pinched between the trowel handle and the side of the pickup truck bed, resulting in an amputation with no bone loss.
