Incident Narrative

An employee was working from a step stool to turn shelved products' labels to face forward and check the products' expiration date(s). As the employee stepped down from the stool, the employee's left leg caught the rubber covering the step. The employee's left hip struck the concrete floor in the resulting fall and was broken. The employee was hospitalized.
