Incident Narrative
An employee was working in a manlift when the cables caught underneath the platform extension and prevented the lift from lowering further. The employee went to pull in the extended part when his left ring finger got caught between the top rail and the rail just underneath. The manlift then broke free as the employee's finger was still caught, resulting in a fingertip amputation down to the nailbed.
