An employee was using an extension wand and sprayer to apply oil to the chains on a moving walkway. While sitting on the threshold of the moving walk's pit, the employee's left foot contacted a pallet (step) and became lodged between a pallet and the turnaround crossbar. The employee suffered fractured bones in his foot.
