An employee was checking the lowboy trailer and preparing to make a delivery. The employee slipped while climbing down the wet steps of the trailer and fell 3-4 feet. The employee landed on a small step stool at the bottom of the ladder and sustained two rib fractures, a lumbar compression fracture, and a left elbow contusion.
