Incident Narrative
An employee was heading to the ground from a 10-foot-high awning using a 28-foot extension ladder that was tied to the building. When the employee was about 8 feet from the ground, they fell off the ladder and landed on top of shrubs. A piece of branch from the shrubs pierced the employee's buttocks, resulting in hospitalization.
