Incident Narrative
Two technicians were changing out a compressor on an HVAC chiller. While preparing the chiller for a pump down, the compressor was over pressurized and the copper drain lines burst. As one technician approached the chiller, a piece of the copper drain line hit the technician on the left wrist. The employee was hospitalized.
