Incident Narrative

An employee was using a floor shaper to put a radius on plastic parts. When placing a part into the shaper bit area, the part kicked and dragged the employee's left hand into the shaper. The employee sustained a partial amputation of the left middle finger and lacerations and avulsions to the left ring finger.
