An employee was clearing a paper wrap in the upper embosser roller and lower pressure roll on the rewinder section of a line. The machine was jogged and the employee's left hand was caught in the point of operation. The employee suffered amputations to the ring and middle fingertips, losing skin, the middle fingernail, and the fingertip pads. There was no bone loss.
