An employee was standing at the top of a belt loader, getting ready to load an airplane with luggage. The loader was energized, and the employee fell to the concrete about 6 feet 7 inches below. He suffered a laceration to the back of the head, as well as a C6-C7 anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) surgery.
