At about 1:30 p.m. on February 19, 2021, after delivering a parcel on the second floor of a building, a postal carrier was returning to the first floor to begin delivering letters. He slipped while walking downstairs, landed on his side, and bounced down a few steps, breaking six ribs and his shoulder blade.
