Incident Narrative
An employee was getting out of a skid steer loader when they slipped on ice and fell between the loader's arms and the cab of the tractor. While falling, a lever was pressed that caused the arms of the skid steer to lower and crush the employee between the cab and the arms. The employee suffered three broken ribs, a collapsed right lung, a fractured C7 vertebra, lost feeling/use of the right arm, and broken blood vessels in both eyes.
