An employee was setting up his truck on asphalt hard top with a gravel shoulder at approximately a 10 percent grade and with approximately a 1-inch lip. The employee was walking on the gravel shoulder and transitioning to the asphalt surface when he tripped on the lip and fell, landing on his right hip and resulting in a fracture of the right femur.
