Incident Narrative

An employee was helping the gang saw operator by unloading the wood from the saw. A piece of wood was jammed in the saw. The saw was turned off. As the employee removed the jammed wood, his hand contacted the still spinning blades and sizer teeth. The employee received lacerations and contusions requiring hand surgery.
