On December 18, 2020, an employee was walking through a plant next to a conveyor. The employee's safety vest got caught in a rotating chain and sprocket that powered the conveyor. As he tried to free himself, his gloved left hand was pulled into the sprocket and his fingers were lacerated. He suffered amputations to the fingers.
