On December 4, 2020, at 4:30 a.m., an employee was trying to remove the leading edge mouse on the glue box during a routine cleaning task on a paper machine. The employee used both hands to pull the mouse when it jerked backwards, catching the employee's gloves between the mouse hook and the glue box and causing an amputation of the pinky finger up to the first knuckle.
