Incident Narrative

An employee was using a crane to unload two bundles of 8" square tubing that was 20 ft. long from a flatbed semi-trailer onto the floor. As the employee lowered the square tubing bundles onto two round pipe bundles, the top bundle of round pipe became unstable and fell over, striking him in the knee area of the right leg and knocking him over and under the trailer. The employee sustained a fracture of the right tibial plateau.
