Incident Narrative
An employee was unhooking the steel stack from the moving lifter in order to have the plates picked up by the suction lifter when the top plate shifted and fell. The sheet slid down and struck the employee's left foot, fracturing the metatarsal bones. He was hospitalized for treatment and surgery.
