Incident Narrative
Crew members where unbolting a 40-foot riser pipe in order to separate the pipe in two pieces. When the bolts where removed, the pipes fell apart. The cable used to secure the bottom pipe caught an employee's left hand and pinched it between the pipe and the cable. causing a laceration to the middle finger and injury to the index finger. The employee was hospitalized.
