Incident Narrative
An employee was moving 10 sheets (74 lbs. each) of gypsum board on a cart across the east parking area. A caster wheel on the cart struck a storm drain with a slotted grate, causing a gust of wind to knock the sheets of gypsum onto the employee. The employee was trapped underneath and pinned to the ground. The employee suffered six fractures to his pelvis and was hospitalized for surgery.
