Incident Narrative
Employees were transporting a mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) through a doorway to another location in the facility. A support bar slipped out of position causing the MEWP to free-fall to ground level. An employee's leg was caught between the mast of the MEWP and the loading dock floor. The employee was hospitalized with a compound fracture of the lower right leg.
