Incident Narrative
An employee was unloading vehicles from a car carrier. As he was releasing one of the chains that held a car down, the car rolled backward and the chain caught his glove. His left hand was pinned between the chain and the aluminum deck, and the index finger was injured. He was hospitalized and the finger was medically amputated above the knuckle.
