Incident Narrative
An employee was cleaning a conveyor line used to package finished cheesecakes. The conveyor belt was removed for cleaning and the employee was cleaning around the head/drive pulley. The conveyor started and the employee's hands were pinned under the conveyor's sprockets and shaft located on the head/drive pulley. The employee sustained a fractured left forearm and lacerations on the left hand.
