Incident Narrative

On September 1, 2020, at approximately 10:00 a.m., an employee was getting ready to clean hot water and resin from a strainer when a bolt became loose as he was standing over the system. He was then sprayed with hot material through the cap on top of system. He received first and second degree burns on his right and left thighs, lower body, right and left arms, abdomen, chest, and left ear and was hospitalized.
